Twice per year they invest in and move a select group of startups to Silicon Valley for 3 months to refine their pitches. This work culminates in Demo Day when the startups present to an invite-only audience of potential investors.

FiveEleven turned the raw space of Pier 48 in San Francisco into the first off-site venue for YC's 28th Demo Day – their largest yet.
In March 2019,180 companies from 35 countries gave 2-minute pitches to an exclusive audience of journalists and VCs over the course of 2 days on 2 simultaneous stages.
